Size by Wet Sieve Analysis Test Kit |
The major solids component of a drilling fluid is often the weight material Barite. The American Petroleum Institute outlines several test procedures that help assure the quality of this important ingredient. Among these is the wet screen procedure for particle size analysis. The OFITE Particle Size Kit contains all of the equipment necessary to perform particle size analysis as specified in API Specification 13A. The kit is furnished complete with U.S. Standard screens of 200 and 325 mesh, screen holder, and spray wash assembly. The spray system includes a pressure monitoring gauge (0 to 30 psi), one 24-inch water hose, and an adapter plug for easy connection to a water supply. OFITE also inventories replacement parts, which may be ordered separately.
