Slotted filter disks are often used for testing loss circulation material in HTHP filter press cells. These disks are available with one or three slots. Slots can be either straight or tapered. Disks with a thickness of 1/4" fit inside the cell where a ceramic disk would go. Thicker disks fit inside the narrower portion of the cell body where the test fluid goes
